Her mother then shifted her base to Mumbai, where she had to work hard to bring up both girls by herself with the help of her grandmother in Mumbai.

Pooja Chopra is a beautiful Indian Actress & Model who had also won the prestigious title of Femina Miss India East on February 17th, 2009. She was the first Indian to win the “Beauty with a Purpose” title at the Miss World competition for India which was contested in Johannesburg, South Africa in the year 2019.

Apart from this, she has also won various titles such as Miss Catwalk, Miss Perfect 10, Nakshatra Miss Sparkling Beauty, Talwarkars Best Body Award & Miss Beautiful Smile. She had won the Pantaloons Femina Miss India-World title on April 5th 2009. Pooja once had also featured at number 28th position in Time Magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful Women in India.

Pooja started her acting career with a small cameo playing herself in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Hindi – language drama film “Fashion“. The film was Produced by Madhur Bhandarkar & Ronnie Screwvala and was Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar himself. The film featured Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, Mugdha Godse, Arjan Bajwa, Samir Soni, Arbaaz Khan in lead role. The film was released on October 29th 2008.

She then made her Tamil Film Industry debut with the movie “Ponnar Shankar“. In the movie, Pooja played the character named Muthaayi, who was Shankar’s love interest. Ponnar Shankar was an Indian epic historical drama film which was Produced and Directed by Thiagarajan. Along with Pooja, the film had featured Prashanth, Divya Parameshwarsn, Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Jayaram and others in the lead role. This film hit the cinemas on April 9th, 2011.

In the year 2012, she was once again seen as a character named Shaheen (special appearance) in the Hindi-language drama film “Heroine“. The movie was Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar and had Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Rampal & Rajdeep Hooda in the lead role. The film was released on September 21st, 2012.
