In an interview to the media personnels from Mumbai Mirror, Donal shared her tough problems she faced during her initial struggle in the entertainment industry. She said, she faced a lot of problems during that phase where she almost quit her dream but somehow made it through and established her name in the industry. During that interview, she opened up about how she was approached by a South Indian film maker. She further said….

“My hunger for acting couldn’t keep me away from the audition for long. It led to another incident when a filmmaker, who was apparently from the south film industry, asked me to sleep with him for a role. I immediately filed a police complaint against the person because I worship my work. Even though the struggle will be a bit more, I was sure that I’ll only make my way into the industry in the right way”.

In an another interview, Donal revealed that she is a firm believer of Astrology and believes very much in tarot card predictions. She added further in the interview and said she once got her reading done from an expert tarot card reader who predicted that she was going to meet someone special who would change her life drastically. “The entire tarot card reading session was quite intriguing, and I was quite amused with some of the predictions.
