Gayatri had an interest in modelling since her childhood and she started perusing her goal in modelling during her collage days where she participated in various beauty pageant competitions at both national and regional levels. On April 12th, 2018 Gayatri was crowned ‘Femina Miss India Delhi’ at “The Leela Palace – New Delhi”. 

She then participated in the 55th edition of the ‘Femina Miss India 2018 Beauty Pageant Competition’ which was held on June 19th, 2018 at the famous “Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium”, located in Mumbai. Here in this competition, Gayatri won the ‘Miss United Continents India 2018’ title, where she had represented her hometown New Delhi.

In the very same beauty pageant competition, Gayatri won various Sub Title Awards like ‘Sephora Miss Glamorous Look’; ‘Kodak Lens Miss Spectacular Eyes’; and ‘Jio Miss Popular’. She even won the Bennett University Sports Day Awards in 100m run and Table Tennis. Gayatri then went on to represent India at the ‘Miss United Continents Beauty Pageant Competition’ where she was places as the First Runner-up during the Best National Costume round. 

During that event round, Gayatri wore the Iconic National Costume – The Magic of the Gayatri Mantra, which was designed by Melvyn Dominic. In the same year, Gayatri won the ‘FBB Campus Princess Beauty Pageant Competition’. In the year 2018, she walked on the ramp wearing costumes designed by the famous designer Nivedita Saboo. In the year 2019, Gayatri was invited to judge the prestigious ‘Miss India North Beauty Pageant Competition’. Recently, in an interview, she spoke about why she feels that the audience might not be able to recognise her in the film named “Tiger Nageswara Rao” (Telugu: టైగర్ నాగేశ్వరరావు). According to her, “Tiger Nageswara Rao is an ambitious project. It is a pan-India project, and I am super excited about dubbing my part in Hindi. This is my first, and it is special. So far, people have seen me play a modern college girl. But this is my first time playing a village girl from the 1970s”.

Gayatri future said… “My look is also very different. I will be seen wearing cotton saris, and my body language is different. People who have seen me in Highway Love will probably not recognise me in that film, because I look very different. But I will take it as a compliment. Ravi Teja, sir, is very down-to-earth, and since he knew that it was my first Telugu film and I was a new actor, he made sure that I was not overwhelmed by the presence of veteran actors. Once, after a short, he even announced on the mic that I did a good job. Such things really boost my morale. I felt so happy that I was on the right track. With it being my first film, such appreciation is always needed. I have a lot of respect for him”.
