The film was initially set to be released on March 17th, 2022 but unfortunately on May 3rd, 2022 the makers of the film announced that the film would be released in the month of September 2022.

In an interview, she said “What an amazing Journey! I am blessed, honored and happy. It’s a wrap for ‘Sheikh Hasina’ for the film. Every moment I will cherish rest of my life,” said Nusrat. In this movie, Nusrat is casted as young ‘Sheikh Hasina’.

Once in an interview Nusraat said that she is also called, “Imraan Hashmi of Tollywood” where she further added, “The directors are putting kissing scenes in every film. I myself sometimes wonder if I am going to be Imran of Tollywood?”

Her favourite actor in Tollywood is Ankush. While talking about him she said, “My first picture with him was Ashiki. He helped me a lot. Without him, I would not have been able to give a good performance”

Nusraat started her career with a BTV debate show participating as a debater. In the year 2010-11 she had won the national debate championship. Apart from this, she appeared in a lot of television commercials and endorsed top brands. She is also a successful model and a Radio Jockey. She has also appeared in a few music videos as well.

She was born in Chittagong (officially known as Chattogram), Bangladesh and from her childhood itself, she was interested and inclined towards acting and modelling. While in school and in college, she used to participate in various stage shows and dramas and used to get a lot of appreciation and attention. But Nusraat once said that she planned to be an army officer, but was later inclined towards acting and modelling.

She completed her initial schooling from “Shaheed Bir Uttam Lt Anwar Girls’ School & College” located in Dhaka Cantonment, Dhaka, Bangladesh and later on completed her junior college from “Rajuk Uttara Model College”, also located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She then completed her ‘Bachelors in Law Degree’ from the famous “University of London”.

Her father name is Majharul Islam, his occupation is not known. Her mothers name is Ferdousi Begum who is a housewife. She has a brother named Farid Islam and a sister named Maria Islam. Their home town is Chittagong (officially known as Chattogram), Bangladesh. Nusraat is married to Rony Riad Rashid after dating Rony for seven years and in an interview she said….

“I met Rony through a common friend at a party and became friends. What attracted me towards him was his intellect – the way he finds joy in little things is amazing. So when he proposed to me, I took a second to give my nod. He works for a telecom company. We will get married by the end of December, as hopefully the situation will be better by that time and we plan to settle in Australia after that. Rony watches all my films and is my biggest critic too,” said Nusraat who was then preparing for her final LLB examination in July 2020.

Her father-in-law was an Army officer who server as a Chief of Army Staff in the Bangladesh Army. His name is M Harun-Ar-Rashid. Nusraat follows Islam vigorously and in an interview, when asked about her religious beliefs, she once said….

“I’m religious, as I was born in a conservative family. We’re supposed to offer namaz five times a day, but I fail to do that because of my hectic schedule. However, it’s a must once a day, as it gives me strength and courage. Whenever I step out of home, I put my left foot first. That’s what my mother taught me. And ahead of any performance or shoot, I recite the duas, as they give me confidence.”

Nusraat started her career in the film industry in the year 2015 with a romantic Bengali-language film named “Aashiqui”. The script of the film was written by Pele Bhattacharya and the movie was directed by Ashok Pati. In the movie, she was casted in a lead role as ‘Shruti’ opposite Ankush Hazra who was casted as Rahul; and others. The film was released in India on September 18th, 2015 and in Bangladesh on September 25th, 2015.

In the year 2016, she was next seen in an Indo-Bangladesh romantic action film named “Hero 420”. Controversies

In the year May 2017, Nusraat featured in a music video named “Allah Meherbaan”, a song from her movie “Boss 2: Back to Rule”. The song caused controversy when it was mistaken for a religious song, which resulted in a legal notice being given to Jaaz Multimedia to remove the video. She also came under criticism for wearing unappropriate costumes in the music video, and the critics criticised the video by calling it a “mockery of Islam” during the month of Ramadan. The video was later removed from the internet, and was later replaced by “Yaara Meherbaan”, an updated version of the song with rewritten lyrics.
