Early Life

Nikita was born and brought up in New Delhi, the National Capital of India. She completed her early schooling from St. Xavier’s School in New Delhi and later completed her Graduation from Delhi University. She always wanted to become a model since her childhood and achieved her initial success in the year 2008 by winning the Miss Air Hostess Academy title.

Later, in the year 2012 she participated & won the Indian Princess Beauty Pageant. She was also seen on the cover page of the Enlighten India Magazine in its July–August 2012 edition.

After her initial success, she moved from Delhi to Mumbai to pursue her Modelling and Acting career. She endorsed various reputed brands like TVS Scooty, Invertis University, Giovani, Lays, & Coca-Cola.

She started her Television Acting career from “Channel V’s” V The Serial as Taani – Karan Kundra’s childhood friend. V The Serial was written by Vikas Gupta and directed by Kushal Zaveri, Vishal Bhosale & Lovely Singh. The dialogues were written by Meghana Datta and this Indian daily soap opera which premiered from 26 November 2012 to 7 March 2013 on “Channel V India” The cast of the serial were as follows: Rohan Shah; Karan Kundra; Soumya Seth; Sara Khan; Pooja Gor; Raj Singh Arora; Priya Wal; & Nikita Sharma.

In the year 2013, she was casted as a young Kashmiri woman named Antara Kaul in Life OK’s Indian television industries daily soap opera named “Do Dil Ek Jaan”.
